Summary

Perform a semantic search to find stored memories with meanings similar to a given query, optionally filtered and customized by user, agent, app, and session identifiers.

Inputs

• Tipo de Autenticao — Select whether to use Mem0 cloud service or a self-hosted instance.
• Consulta de Busca (required) — Text string to search semantically in memories.
• ID do Usuario — Unique user identifier to associate and filter memories by user.
• ID do Agente — Identifier for the AI agent or assistant interacting, used to separate memories by agents.
• ID da aplicacao — Application or system context identifier for segmenting memories by different apps.
• ID da sessao — Identifier for the current session or execution grouping memories from the same conversation or interaction.
• Opes de Busca — Additional search options such as number of results (topK), result reranking (rerank), specific fields to return, filtering by metadata, and advanced filter rules (only for searchV2).

Output shape

a list of memory records matching the semantic query

Results can be limited by the topK parameter, filtered by optional metadata and advanced filters, and may include only specified fields. The output includes multiple JSON items representing individual memories found by the semantic search.

Examples

Example 1: Find up to 10 memories semantically related to a user interface preferences query for a specific user and AI agent in an app context.

Set Tipo de Autenticao to 'nuvem', provide 'Consulta de Busca' with the query text, specify 'ID do Usuario', 'ID do Agente', 'ID da aplicacao' as needed, and optionally set 'Opes de Busca' with 'Quantidade de Resultados' (topK) and 'Reordenar Resultados' (rerank).
