Summary

Convert PDF documents via the PDF Engines resource, supporting merge, split, conversion to PDF/A, flattening, and metadata operations.

Inputs

• binaryPropertyName (required) — Name of the binary property (or comma‑separated list of names for merge) containing the input PDF(s)
• pdfa — Target PDF/A format for conversion (e.g., PDF/A-1a, PDF/A-2b, PDF/A-3b)

Output shape

Array of items, each containing a binary file under the configured output property and JSON metadata (filename, mimeType)

Binary output is always returned; JSON metadata includes filename and mimeType, and errors may add an error field.

Examples

Example 1: Convert a PDF to PDF/A-1a and store the result in the `data` property

resource: PDF Engines, operation: convert, pdfa: PDF/A-1a, binaryPropertyName: data

Example 2: Merge multiple PDFs from properties listed in `binaryPropertyName` and output the merged file to `mergedPdf`
