Send Media
AI-generatedSummary
Send an image, video, document, audio, or voice message to an existing ConfirmX conversation by posting its media URL. Use this operation within the 24-hour messaging window; document, audio, and voice messages can include a filename.
Inputs
- Conversation ID (required) — ID of the existing conversation to receive the media.
- Media Type (required) — Choose image, video, document, audio, or voice.
- Media URL (required) — Public URL of the media file.
- Media Caption — Optional caption sent with the media.
- Media Filename — Shown for document, audio, and voice. The UI describes it as required for these types; the implementation includes it only when nonempty.
- Reply To Message ID — Optional ID of an existing message to quote.
- Integration Label — Optional human-readable label shown in the inbox; the UI specifies a maximum of 64 characters.
- Idempotency Key (X-Request-Id) — Optional UUID used to make repeated requests replay-safe without recharging. If omitted, the node generates a key from the execution, node, item, method, and endpoint.
Output shape
A list of items, each containing the sent message in its JSON field.
The node posts to ConfirmX's /messages/send endpoint and returns res.message for each input item. API failures surface as n8n errors; rate-limit and server errors are retried up to three attempts.
