Summary

Update an existing product in a Wix store by specifying its product ID, current revision, and the fields to update. Supports updating basic fields like name, description, visibility, SEO data, category, media, physical properties, subscription details, variants, options, and modifiers.

Inputs

• Product (required) — The ID of the product to update. Can be selected from a list of products or entered directly by ID.
• Revision (required) — The current revision of the product to ensure no unintended overwrites. This value should be retrieved from a prior Get Product call.
• Update Fields — Collection of fields to update in the product. Includes name, product type, description (rich text or plain), SEO data, category, brand name, media items (images/videos with alt text and display name), info sections, physical properties (delivery profile, fulfiller, price per unit), subscription details (allow one-time purchases, subscriptions), ribbon/badge text and ID, variants (update existing by variant ID or add new), options (product options creating variant combinations), and modifiers (optional add-ons). To update array fields like options, modifiers, or variants, you must provide the entire existing array.
• Fields — Additional optional fields to specify in the response returned after the update, which can include categories info, description formats, media items info, subscription prices, URL, and more.

Output shape

Returns the updated product object including optionally requested additional fields. Requires providing the current revision to prevent conflicts. Array fields must be fully provided to be updated correctly.
