Summary

Retrieve records from a Workiom list, with optional pagination, field selection, ID restriction, text search, and filters. By default, return records with field names and type-formatted values; enable Advanced Output to retain raw values while still renaming field IDs to names.

Inputs

  • App (required) — Select an app or provide its ID.
  • List (required) — Select a list in the app or provide its ID.
  • Limit — Maximum number of records to request; defaults to 50.
  • Skip — Number of records to skip; defaults to 0.
  • Fields to Return — Field IDs to include in each record. Leave empty to request all fields.
  • Record IDs — Restrict results to IDs. Accepts an array or a comma-separated string; leave empty to omit this restriction.
  • Quick Search — Search text across all fields; blank omits the search parameter.
  • Filter Logic — Choose whether all filters must match (AND, default) or any filter can match (OR).
  • Filters — Add field conditions using Is, Is Not, Contains, Does Not Contain, comparison, emptiness, In, or Not In operators. Value is omitted for Is Empty and Is Not Empty.
  • Advanced Output — Defaults to false. When enabled, return raw field values; otherwise convert supported values such as dates, numbers, choices, and users to friendly formats.

Output shape

A list of n8n items, one per returned record.

Each record's _id becomes id and fields are named from the list's field definitions. Default output formats supported field types into friendly values; Advanced Output keeps values raw. Fields whose keys start with view- are omitted in both modes. Request errors fail the operation unless the workflow is configured to continue on fail.

Examples

Example 1: Fetch the first 50 records from a list

Select the App and List; leave Limit at 50 and Skip at 0.

Example 2: Fetch a later page with selected fields

Set Skip to the number of records already processed, set Limit, and choose Fields to Return.

Example 3: Find records by IDs or conditions

Provide Record IDs and/or Quick Search. Add Filters for field conditions and select AND or OR logic.
