Summary

Check whether the configured VK credential token is valid by calling VK's users.get method for the token's own user. Returns a validity flag with the user's identity, or the VK error details and a hint.

Inputs

None.

Output shape

One item per input item. On success: { valid: true, user_id, first_name, last_name, proxy }. On a VK API error: { valid: false, error_code, error_msg, proxy, hint }.

The operation has no parameters. It uses the vkApi credential and its optional Proxy URL. proxy is the configured proxy URL, or null if none is set. hint is only present for known error codes (5, 7, 14, 15, 17, 200, 203). For code 5 it says the token is tied to another IP or is invalid. A VK API error does not fail the node, because it comes back as valid: false. Network or other thrown errors fail the node unless Continue On Fail is enabled, in which case an { error } item is returned. The input item's data isn't used.

Examples

Example 1: Verify the VK token before running a posting workflow

Resource: Утилиты, Operation: Проверить токен; no other fields. Follow with an IF node on {{$json.valid}}.

Example 2: Diagnose an IP-bound token on a server

Same operation, with a static Proxy URL set in the vkApi credential. Read error_code and hint in the output to see whether the token is bound to another IP.
