Summary

Adds a reaction emoji to a specific WhatsApp message through the Aysali API. The operation is exposed in the UI as React To Message under the Message resource and maps internally to the send-reaction operation of the messages-api resource. It requires the instance name, the chat number where the message exists, the message ID, and the emoji to react with. The From Me flag indicates whether the message was sent by the instance itself, which helps the API identify the correct message. The operation sends the reaction to the configured Aysali instance and returns the API response.

Inputs

• instanceName (required) — The name of the Aysali instance to use. This identifies the WhatsApp connection on which the reaction will be sent.
• remoteJid (required) — The chat number (remote JID) where the target message is located, e.g. the phone number of the contact or group ID.
• messageId (required) — The unique ID of the message to react to.
• fromMe — Whether the target message was sent by the instance itself (true) or received from the contact (false). Used to locate the correct message in the WhatsApp chat.
• reaction (required) — The emoji to use as the reaction. Defaults to 👍.

Output shape

API response object

The operation returns the API response from the Aysali instance after the reaction request is processed. The exact shape of the response is determined by the Aysali API endpoint and is passed through as the operation result.
