Summary

Update a Bloomflow task by its ID, with optional changes to assignees, assigners, reminders, description, due date, and invited users.

Inputs

• Item (required) — Select or enter the parent item's ID or Bloomflow URL. Used to filter the task picker; it is not sent to the update endpoint.
• Task (required) — Select or enter the task's ID or Bloomflow URL.
• Typology (required) — Select or enter the parent item's typology. Used to filter the item picker when Item is selected from a list.
• Update Fields — Optionally set assignee IDs and assigner IDs as comma-separated values (replacing existing assignments); enable an automatic due-date reminder and set its lead time in days; update the task description or due date; or invite users with JSON entries containing email, first_name, last_name, and type (assignee or assigner), with optional group_ids.

Output shape

A single task response from the update request.

Fields left out of Update Fields are not specified for update. Invited Users must be valid JSON.

Examples

Example 1: Change a task's due date, description, and assignees

Select the parent Item and Task, then set Due Date, Description, and Assignee IDs in Update Fields. Assignee IDs replace the existing assignees.
