Summary

Updates an existing OneBill subscriber account by account number, applying the supplied account attributes and custom-field values while preserving existing values that are not listed.

Inputs

• Account Number (required) — Account number of the subscriber to update.
• Update Fields — Optionally set account name, billing address, company, primary contact details, or an external ID. Account Attributes (JSON) accepts an array shaped like the API’s accountAttribute response; read the account first to see the required keys and nesting. OneBill rejects the update if the external ID exceeds 64 characters.
• Custom Fields — Add custom-field values declared in OneBill under Settings > Custom Fields. Choose a group and field, provide a value, and set the group instance (starting at 1); rows with the same instance fill that instance, and a higher instance can create one. Unlisted existing custom-field values are left unchanged. Mandatory fields without a value can cause the update to fail.

Output shape

A single updated subscriber record.

The operation updates only supplied fields; custom-field values are returned as strings by OneBill.
