Summary

Updates an existing PERS redemption by sending a PUT request to /redemptions/{redemptionId} with whichever fields you set in Additional Fields.

Inputs

  • additionalFields.context — JSON object of admin-defined context for AI prompts and trigger-based validity. Special keys are validityDate, validityEndDate and validityDuration, which control token expiry.
  • additionalFields.ownerBusinessId — Business UUID that owns the redemption. Leave it empty for a tenant-owned redemption.

Output shape

One item per input item. Its json is the PERS API response body for the updated redemption, paired to the input item.

The exact response fields aren't defined in the node source. If Continue On Fail is enabled, a failed item returns {error: message} instead of throwing. Fields left out of Additional Fields are not sent. Any field you add is sent even if it holds a default value such as 0 or false, so don't add fields you don't want to change.

Examples

Example 1: Deactivate a redemption and rename it

Set Redemption ID to the UUID. In Additional Fields, add Is Active = false and Name = 'Summer Reward (closed)'.

Example 2: Restrict availability by country and set a validity window

Add Country Code Restrictions = 'NOT_ES, FR', Start Date and End Date.

Example 3: Retag a redemption from a previous node's data

Set Redemption ID to an expression such as {{$json.id}}. Add Tags = 'rewards, partner, premium'.
