Summary

Update an existing contact in YCloud by specifying its contact ID and optional fields to change.

Inputs

• contactId (required) — Select the contact to update either from the existing contacts list or by entering the contact ID manually.
• additionalFields — Optionally provide fields to update such as country code, email, nickname, owner email, phone number, tags, and custom attributes in JSON format.

Output shape

A single record representing the updated contact with the applied changes.

The operation updates only the fields provided in 'Additional Fields' for the specified contact ID. If no fields are provided, no changes occur. The output reflects the contact after the update.

Examples

Example 1: Update the email and phone number of a contact selected from the list.

Set 'Contact' using list mode to pick the contact and specify 'Email' and 'Phone Number' under 'Additional Fields'.
