Summary

Updates a CiviCRM relationship by its internal ID, setting the fields you provide. Returns the updated relationship record.

Inputs

• ID (required) — Internal CiviCRM ID of the relationship to update.
• Fields — Add one or more field name/value pairs to set. Blank names and blank values are skipped; values are converted to booleans, numbers, or JSON objects and arrays when they parse accordingly.
• Runtime Bearer Token (Optional) — Optional per-item JWT, often supplied with an expression such as ={{ $json.user_jwt }}. When set, the request uses that token without retrying with credential-based authentication if the response is empty or an error.
• Base URL Override — Optional per-item CiviCRM site root to use instead of the credential's Base URL. A missing scheme defaults to https://; only HTTP and HTTPS URLs are accepted.

Output shape

A single relationship record per input item.

After the update, the node fetches the relationship by ID and returns the first record, or an empty object if none is returned. If Continue On Fail is enabled, errors are returned as an item with an error field.
