Summary

Retrieve multiple BCDR devices from the Datto Backup system with optional filters and sorting.

Inputs

• Return All — Whether to return all devices including those from child resellers and hidden devices, or limit the number of results.
• Limit — Maximum number of devices to return when 'Return All' is false (1-500).
• Options — Additional filtering options: include hidden devices, include devices from child resellers, sort field, and sort order.

Output shape

a list of device objects

If 'Return All' is true, all devices matching optional filters are retrieved with pagination handled internally. Otherwise, results are limited by the 'Limit' parameter. Returned device objects include standard BCDR device information as provided by the Datto API.

Examples

Example 1: Get all devices including child reseller and hidden devices, sorted by name ascending

Set Return All to true (default options used).

Example 2: Get up to 50 devices excluding hidden devices sorted by last seen date descending

Set Return All to false, Limit to 50, Options with Show Hidden Devices set to false, Sort By set to Last Seen Date, Sort Order set to Descending.
