Summary

Send a WhatsApp text message from the specified Meta phone number through Kapso. Choose whether to address the recipient by phone number, BSUID, or both; optionally enable link previews or reply to an existing message.

Inputs

• Phone Number ID (required) — Meta phone_number_id to send from.
• Recipient Mode — Choose phone number, BSUID, or both. Defaults to Phone Number; when both are supplied, WhatsApp gives the phone number precedence.
• Recipient Phone Number (required) — Shown for Phone Number or both modes. The operation strips non-digits before sending and rejects values containing letters or periods.
• Recipient BSUID (required) — Shown for BSUID or both modes. Must include its country prefix and full identifier, such as US.13491208655302741918.
• Message (required) — Text message body.
• Preview URL — Whether WhatsApp should render previews for links in the message; defaults to false.
• Reply to Message ID — Optional WhatsApp message ID to include as the reply context.

Output shape

A single item containing the Kapso/WhatsApp API response for the send request.

Runs once per input item. The request is a POST to the selected phone number's WhatsApp messages endpoint; failures become node errors unless Continue On Fail is enabled, in which case the item contains an error field.
