Summary

Remove one or more tags from a specified contact in Kajabi by providing the contact's unique ID and a comma-separated list of numeric tag IDs to remove.

Inputs

• Authentication — Choose between OAuth2 (recommended) or API Key for authenticating with the Kajabi API.
• Contact ID (required) — The unique numeric identifier of the contact from which tags will be removed.
• Tag IDs (required) — Comma-separated list of numeric tag IDs to remove from the contact.
• Request Options — Optional settings including batching parameters, SSL certificate verification override, proxy setup, and request timeout.

Output shape

a single object indicating success and the HTTP status code, or other response data if the API returns it

On successful removal (HTTP 204 No Content), returns an object with { success: true, statusCode: 204 }. The operation sends a DELETE request to /v1/contacts/{contactId}/relationships/tags with a JSON:API body listing tags to remove.

Examples

Example 1: Remove tags with IDs 12345 and 67890 from contact 98765

Set Contact ID to '98765' and Tag IDs to '12345,67890'.
