Summary

Upsert a person record by searching for an existing person using a specified match field (email, LinkedIn URL, or phone) and match value. If a matching person is found, update their details; otherwise, create a new person record with provided information and optional additional and custom fields.

Inputs

• Match Field (required) — Select the field to use for matching an existing person record (Email, LinkedIn URL, or Phone).
• Match Value (required) — The value to search for in the selected match field to find an existing person.
• First Name (required) — Specify the first name of the person.
• Last Name (required) — Specify the last name of the person.
• Additional Fields — Optional additional person fields such as Avatar URL, City, Company association (select from available companies), Email, Job Title, LinkedIn URL, and Phone number.
• Custom Fields — Specify one or more custom fields by name and value to include in the person record.

Output shape

a single record representing the created or updated person

The operation returns the full person record created or updated. It automatically searches for an existing person by the specified match field and value, updating it if found or creating a new one otherwise. Custom and additional fields are transformed appropriately for the Twenty CRM API.
