Summary

Fetch a specific Reddit post and its comments by providing the post URL, optionally limiting the number of returned comments.

Inputs

• Client — Select a specific online AgentMesh client to handle the task, or let AgentMesh auto-select the least busy one.
• Post URL (required) — URL of the Reddit post from which to fetch the post data and comments.
• Limit — Maximum number of comments to return (1 to 100, default is 10).

Output shape

a list of JSON items representing the Reddit post and its comments, each item includes the source data with metadata such as task ID and request parameters

The node creates a task via the AgentMesh API and polls until it completes or times out (up to ~60 seconds). If successful, it returns an array with individual items for the post and comments up to the specified limit. If the task fails or times out, an error is thrown or returned based on node settings.

Examples

Example 1: Retrieve Reddit post and up to 20 comments using the default client selection

Set Post URL to the Reddit post's full URL, set Limit to 20, leave Client empty for auto-selection
