Wire → Search

AI-generated

Summary

Runs an AI-powered web search and returns the results.

Inputs

  • Search Query (required) — The search query or question to ask the AI search engine.
  • Max Results — Maximum number of search results to return (default: 5).

Output shape

json

One JSON object per input item: { success: true, operation: 'search', query: , ...searchResponse }, where searchResponse is the API's response body.

Examples

Example 1: Takes the required Search Query (searchPrompt) and optional Max Results (searchLimit, default 5), validates that the query is non-empty, trims it, and POSTs { prompt, limit } to the Anakin API endpoint {baseUrl}/v1/search using the anakinScraperApi credential. The call is synchronous — no job submission or polling loop. Each input item produces one output item containing success: true, operation: 'search', the original query string, and the API's response body spread into the JSON. Note: in the node source this operation value ('search') is defined under the Web resource, not Wire; the runtime dispatches on the operation value alone, so the Wire grouping in the catalog does not change the behavior.

Performs an AI-powered web search through the Anakin API and returns the results synchronously.
