Summary

Updates an existing Arca folder by modifying its name, icon, or color.

Inputs

• workspaceId (required) — The workspace ID where the folder resides. Must be a valid workspace ID or a value selectable from the dropdown.
• folderIdToModify (required) — The ID of the folder to update. Must be a valid folder ID or a value selectable from the dropdown.
• additionalFields — Optional collection to specify which properties to update. Supports 'name' (string), 'icon' (string), and 'color' (options: gray, red, orange, yellow, green, teal, blue, cyan, purple, pink). Only provided fields are sent to the API.

Output shape

a single record

Returns the updated folder object from the API.

Examples

Example 1: Update a folder's name

Select a workspace and a folder, then provide a new name in the 'Name' field of 'Additional Fields'.

Example 2: Change a folder's color

Select a workspace and a folder, then select a new color from the 'Color' dropdown in 'Additional Fields'.
