Summary

Create a person in Arco CRM with a required name and any supplied optional fields. The request can also enroll the person in a campaign; that enrollment is atomic, so a failed enrollment prevents the person from being created.

Inputs

• Name (required) — Person’s name.
• Additional Fields — Optionally provide email, phone, organization ID, owner membership, state and city, custom data as JSON or mapped tenant fields, and a campaign. Choose a state before selecting a city. Use either Custom Data (JSON) or Custom Fields. Campaign enrollment requires the campaigns:operate:all scope.
• Idempotency Key — Sent as the Idempotency-Key header. Reusing the same key with the same request body within 24 hours returns the original response; reusing it with a different body returns a 409 conflict.

Output shape

A single person record returned by the create request.

The node sends a POST request to /v1/people. An optional campaign enrollment targets that campaign’s first stage; if enrollment fails, the person is not created.
