Action → Raw Hermes Request

AI-generated

Summary

Sends a direct HTTP request to a Hermes API endpoint using the configured Hermes Base URL and credentials. Use it to call endpoints outside the node’s predefined action operations.

Inputs

  • HTTP Method — GET by default; also supports DELETE, PATCH, POST, and PUT.
  • Endpoint (required) — Path relative to the configured Hermes Base URL, such as /v1/custom.
  • Request Body — JSON object sent for non-GET requests; defaults to {}. The node ignores a body for GET.
  • Query Parameters — JSON object added as URL query parameters; defaults to {}.
  • Advanced Options — Optional request settings: retry count (0–5), timeout in seconds (default 30, overrides the credential), log level, correlation ID and idempotency key headers, and whether to include the raw response. The action allowlist, blocklist, and sensitive-action settings apply to action validation; this raw request path does not run that validation.

Output shape

A list of one normalized result item per input item.

On success, each item includes success, status, result, and other common Hermes response fields; result uses the response’s result or data value when present, otherwise the whole response. Enabling Include Raw Response adds raw_response. An unsuccessful API response or request error fails the item, or returns a normalized failure item when Continue On Fail is enabled.
