Summary

Submit a publicly accessible audio file URL to Azure Speech for batch transcription, poll the job until it completes, and return the downloaded transcription JSON.

Inputs

• Authentication (required) — Authenticate with an Azure resource API key (default) or Microsoft Entra ID OAuth2 credentials.
• Azure Region (required) — Azure Speech resource region. The operation fails if no region is available from the node setting or credential.
• Audio File URL (required) — Publicly accessible audio URL, such as an Azure Blob Storage URL with a SAS token.
• Locale — BCP-47 locale for the audio; defaults to en-US.

Output shape

One JSON output item per input item containing the transcription JSON downloaded from the completed Azure job.

Creates a batch transcription job and polls it every 3 seconds for up to 60 attempts (about 3 minutes). Errors if the job URL, files link, transcription file, or its content URL is missing, or if polling does not complete successfully.
