Summary

Resizes a video file hosted at a public URL using specified dimension constraints and scaling modes.

Inputs

• name (required) — Name assigned to the video job.
• url (required) — Public and downloadable URL of the original video file.
• mode (required) — Scaling behavior to apply (Scale to Width, Scale to Height, Scale to Fit, Scale to Fill, Scale Exact, or Scale Keep Aspect Ratio).
• width — Target width in pixels. Must be an even number, minimum 2.
• height — Target height in pixels. Must be an even number, minimum 2.
• mute — Whether to mute the audio track in the original video. Defaults to false.
• wait — When enabled, pauses workflow execution until video rendering completes and returns full object details. When disabled, returns immediately with job ID and timestamp. Defaults to true.
• webhook_url — Optional notification URL to receive asynchronous updates containing the video ID and result URL upon completion.

Output shape

a single record

Returns a full video object including the generated media URL if 'Wait for Completion' is enabled. If disabled, returns a lightweight record containing the job ID and creation timestamp.

Examples

Example 1: Scale a video to HD width while maintaining aspect ratio

Set Video - Name to 'HD Scale', Video - URL to 'https://example.com/input.mp4', Scale Mode to 'Scale to Width', and Width to 1280.

Example 2: Fit a muted video within specific width and height dimensions

Set Video - Name to 'Muted Resized', Video - URL to 'https://example.com/input.mp4', Scale Mode to 'Scale to Fit', Width to 1920, Height to 1080, and Video - Mute to true.
