Summary

Searches records in the selected brainX module, with optional filters, sorting, pagination, and control over returned fields and deleted records or file content.

Inputs

• Module Name or ID (required) — Select or specify the entity type to search.
• Limit — Maximum results to return; defaults to 50 and accepts values from 1 to 200.
• Filters — Add conditions using a field, comparison operator, and value. Operators include contains, exact equals, greater than, less than, and not equals. Separate values with | for OR matching within a field. Conditions are combined with AND by default; enable Filter Combine With OR to combine them with OR.
• Sort Order — Add one or more fields to sort by, each ascending or descending.
• Additional Options — Choose fields to return (all fields by default), include deleted records or file content, and set an offset to skip records for pagination.
• brainX API credentials (required) — Credentials are required to authenticate with brainX.

Output shape

A list of n8n items, one per returned record.

An empty result produces no record items. With Continue On Fail enabled, a failed input item produces an item containing an error message.
