Summary

Updates variables for the specified server by sending a PUT request to the admin server variables endpoint. Choose JSON, raw text, or no request body; with JSON mode, provide variables in Body JSON.

Inputs

• Server UUID (required) — The server UUID or identifier whose variables to update.
• Query Parameters JSON — Optional query parameters as a JSON object.
• Body Mode — Select JSON, Raw Text, or None. Defaults to JSON.
• Body JSON — In JSON mode, provide the request body as a JSON object containing the variables to update.
• Raw Body — In Raw Text mode, provide the request body as plain text.
• Additional Options — Optionally return HTTP error responses instead of failing, return the full response including status and headers, or set a request timeout.

Output shape

One n8n item per input item, containing the API response as JSON.

Array responses are wrapped as {"data": [...]}; scalar responses as {"data": value}; and an empty response as {"success": true}. Return Full Response can change the response content to include status and headers. With Continue On Fail enabled, failed items contain an error message.
