Summary

Searches Instagram Reels for a hashtag or keyword and returns the matching results. Optionally limits results by posting date or serves a cached response.

Inputs

• Query (required) — Hashtag without # or a keyword of at least two characters.
• Limit — Maximum number of items to return; defaults to 20 and supports up to 200. Each call costs 2 credits.
• DatePosted — Filter by posting period: last_24_hours, last_week, last_month, or last_year. Aliases are today, this_week, this_month, and this_year.
• Cache — Defaults to false, which fetches fresh results. Set true to use the 24-hour response cache; cache hits cost 0 credits and include cached and cachedAt in the response envelope.

Output shape

A response envelope containing the Reels search results.

The properties describe cache metadata on cache hits, but do not specify the result item fields or pagination behavior.
