Recognition → AWS WAF Classification

AI-generated

Summary

Sends an AWS WAF image challenge (single image and/or up to nine grid images plus an optional question) to the CaptchaSonic API and returns the classification result synchronously.

Inputs

  • Task Type (required) — Fixed to AwsWafClassification; sent as the task type.
  • Question — Instruction text of the challenge (e.g. which objects to select). Sent only if non-empty.
  • Image (Base64) — Single base64 challenge image. Added first to the task's queries array.
  • Image 1–9 (Base64) — Base64 grid images. Empty ones are skipped; the rest are appended to queries in order.
  • Image Background (Base64) — Base64 background image, for slide-type challenges.
  • Website URL — Page URL where the CAPTCHA appears. Sent only if non-empty.
  • Website Key — Sitekey for the widget, if applicable. Sent as both websiteKey and websiteKEY.
  • Body — Raw body data. If it parses as a JSON object, its fields are merged into the task (overriding earlier fields of the same name); otherwise it is sent as a raw string in body.

Output shape

One item per input item: { success: true, data: }, paired to the input item.

The exact fields in data are defined by the CaptchaSonic API and aren't specified in the node. Recognition tasks return inline, with no polling. API errors (non-zero errorId) throw, or with Continue On Fail enabled yield an item with { error: message }. Requires CaptchaSonic API credentials.

Examples

Example 1: Solve a 3x3 AWS WAF image grid captured by a browser automation step

Set Question to the challenge prompt, map each tile's base64 to Image 1–9, optionally set Website URL.

Example 2: Pass extra API fields not exposed in the UI

Put a JSON object in Body (e.g. {"questionType":"..."}) to merge it into the task.
