Summary

Create a new submission in a specified Clappia app by providing submission data either as individual form fields or as a complete JSON object.

Inputs

• App (required) — Select the Clappia app to create the submission in, either from a searchable list or by specifying the app ID directly.
• Data Mode (required) — Choose how to input submission data: either as individual form fields dynamically loaded from the selected app, or as a JSON object.
• Fields — When using 'Form' data mode, add one or more fields with their names (or IDs) and values to define the submission data.
• Submission Data (required) — When using 'JSON' data mode, provide the entire submission data as a JSON object using field IDs as keys and corresponding values.

Output shape

Returns the created submission as JSON. Supports processing multiple input items in batch mode, with each output item paired to its input item. Throws errors on failure unless the node is configured to continue on error.

Examples

Example 1: Creating a submission using individual form fields.

Select the target app, set data mode to 'Form', then add each submission field by choosing the field name or ID and providing a value.

Example 2: Creating a submission using raw JSON data.

Select the target app, set data mode to 'JSON', and enter the submission data as a JSON object with field IDs and values.
