Summary

Update an existing comment on a specified parent resource in Concord CRM by specifying the comment's ID, its parent resource type and ID, and providing the new comment text.

Inputs

• Record ID (required) — The ID of the comment to update
• Commentable Resource (required) — The parent resource type that the comment belongs to (e.g., deals, contacts, companies, activities, documents)
• Parent Record ID (required) — The ID of the parent record (deal, contact, etc.)
• Comment Body (required) — The new text content of the comment

Returns the updated comment object as JSON. The output is a single item per input comment updated.

Examples

Example 1: Update a comment on a specific deal

Specify resource as 'comments', operation as 'update', provide the comment's Record ID, set Commentable Resource to 'deals', the parent deal's ID as Parent Record ID, and enter the new comment text in Comment Body.
