Summary

Replace the list of associated records of a specified type for a Deal with a new set of associated record IDs.

Inputs

• Record ID (required) — The ID of the Deal record to synchronize associations for.
• Association Resource (required) — The related resource type to associate with the Deal. Must be one of Contacts, Companies, Deals, or Activities.
• Associated Record IDs (required) — Comma-separated list of record IDs to set as the associated records for the specified resource type (e.g., 1,2,3). This list will replace any existing associations.

Output shape

a single record representing the updated Deal associations.

The operation sends a PUT request to the /deals/{recordId}/associations/{associationResource} endpoint with the provided IDs to replace existing associations. If the API response includes a data array, it is flattened to individual items; otherwise, the full response is returned as one item.

Examples

Example 1: Sync Deal associations to a specific set of Contacts

Set 'Record ID' to the Deal ID, 'Association Resource' to 'Contacts', and specify the new Contact IDs in 'Associated Record IDs' as a comma-separated list.
