Summary

Update the specified tag's name, color, and description in your Contabo account.

Inputs

• Tag Name or ID (required) — The unique identifier of the tag to update. Select from the list or provide an ID using an expression.
• Tag Name (required) — The new name for the tag.
• Tag Color — Optional hex color value to set for the tag's display in the control panel. Defaults to #0A78C3.
• Tag Description — Optional description to assign to the tag.
• Custom Request ID — An optional UUIDv4 request identifier for idempotency. If left blank, a random UUIDv4 will be generated automatically.

Output shape

a single updated tag object

Returns the updated tag details as JSON. If an error occurs, error information is returned or an exception is thrown depending on node configuration.

Examples

Example 1: Update a tag's name and color

Select the existing tag by ID, provide a new tag name and optionally a tag color in hex format, then run the node to update the tag.
