Summary

Create a Cortana conversion entry for the selected business and conversion type. The node resolves a contact by email or phone, creating one if no match exists, then posts the entry with its source and any supplied conversion details.

Inputs

  • Business Name or ID (required) — Business where the conversion is recorded.
  • Conversion Type Name or ID (required) — Conversion type to record; available types are loaded for the selected business.
  • Source Name or ID — Source to attribute the entry to. By default, the node finds an active source named “n8n” for this business and conversion type, creating it if needed.
  • Email — Contact email used to find an existing contact or create one. Provide this or Phone.
  • Phone — Contact phone number, including country code, used to find an existing contact or create one. Provide this or Email.
  • Additional Fields — Optionally set Currency, First Name, Last Name, Occurred At, and Revenue. First and last name are used if the node creates a contact; Currency, Occurred At, and a nonzero Revenue value are sent with the conversion.

Output shape

One conversion entry object per input item.

The created contact is not returned separately. If contact lookup finds a match, the node uses that contact; otherwise it creates one using the supplied email or phone and optional name. Occurred At is converted to ISO format; omitted values use the API's defaults.
