Summary

Updates an existing traceability series via a PUT request to the DataMagik API. The seriesId is required; optional configuration fields (name, formatString, baseType, resetRule) are included only when provided.

Inputs

• seriesId (required) — The ID of the traceability series to update
• seriesName — Name for the series
• formatString — Format string for serial number generation. Tokens: {YYYY}, {MM}, {DD}, {JJJ}, {SHIFT}, {####}
• baseType — Character set for sequence numbers
• resetRule — When to reset the sequence counter

Output shape

The DataMagik API returns the updated series record.

Only non-empty optional parameters are sent in the PUT request body. The seriesId is included as a URL path parameter.
