Summary

Update an existing partner's details in Dub by specifying their email, partner ID, or tenant ID.

Inputs

• updateBy (required) — Select how to identify the partner to update: by Email, Partner ID, or Tenant ID.
• email — The email address of the partner to update. Required when 'Update By' is set to Email.
• partnerId — The unique Dub ID of the partner to update. Required when 'Update By' is set to Partner ID.
• tenantId — The tenant ID associated with the partner to update. Required when 'Update By' is set to Tenant ID.
• updateFields — Collection of fields to update, including Name, Country code, or Group ID.

Output shape

Returns the updated Dub partner object including its identifiers and updated profile attributes.

Examples

Example 1: Update a partner's name by email

Set Update By to 'Email', Email to 'partner@example.com', and Update Fields > Name to 'Jane Doe'.

Example 2: Reassign partner group using Partner ID

Set Update By to 'Partner ID', Partner ID to 'pn_12345', and Update Fields > Group ID to 'grp_98765'.
