Summary

Adds the selected label to a Fastmail message by updating its mailbox membership. Use it to categorize a message; the operation processes each input item and returns an action result for each message.

Inputs

• Message ID (required) — The ID of the message to update.
• Label Name or ID (required) — Choose a Fastmail label or provide its ID, including through an expression.

Output shape

One result item per input item.

Each result includes the action (addLabel), message ID, and a successful flag. With the Fetch Options Debug setting enabled, the result also includes the raw JMAP response and before and after message state. If the update fails, the operation errors unless Continue On Fail is enabled, in which case it returns an item with an error field.
