Summary

Parse a full name string from a specified input field into components like firstName, lastName, middleName, prefix, suffix, and initials, and add these as new fields to each item.

Inputs

• Name Field (required) — Specifies the field name containing the full name string to parse (e.g., "Dr. John Smith Jr."). Supports case-insensitive field name lookup by default.
• Output Prefix — A string prefix to prepend to each output field name (e.g., "parsed_" results in fields like parsed_firstName). Leave empty to output fields without prefix.
• Options — Additional settings including whether field name matching is case-insensitive (default true), whether to continue workflow execution on failure, debug mode to include detailed processing info, skipping items if no changes occurred, and tracking changes with before/after values.

Output shape

a list of items where each item's JSON includes the newly parsed name component fields added alongside the original data.

If the specified Name Field is not found or its value is not a string, the item will be included with no changes or with skipped status updates depending on options. The output JSON for each item may also include _changes and _debug fields if those options are enabled, showing modification details and debug information respectively.
