Summary

Send a message to a Freelancer thread by posting the supplied text to that thread’s messages endpoint. Authenticate with OAuth2 or an access token; the thread can be specified by ID or by a Freelancer URL containing its thread ID.

Inputs

• Authentication — Choose OAuth2 or Access Token credentials; defaults to OAuth2.
• Thread (required) — Select a thread by ID or enter a Freelancer URL containing /threads/<numeric ID>.
• Message — Text to send. The UI defaults to an empty string.
• Query Parameters — Additional JSON object merged into the request query parameters; can override the generated message parameter. Defaults to {}.
• Body — Additional JSON object sent as the request body. Defaults to {}.

Output shape

A list of n8n items, one for each item extracted from the API response.

Each item is wrapped as {id, resource, operation, data, _meta}; data contains the returned API record and _meta includes the endpoint and fetch time. The operation sends a POST request, with the message text in the message query parameter and the additional body JSON as the request body. If no response items are extracted, the node returns an empty list.
