Summary

Retrieves comments from Freelo, optionally filtered by comment type and project, with sorting and either all results or a capped number returned.

Inputs

• Return All — If true, returns all matching comments; if false, the Limit Responses value applies. Default false.
• Limit Responses (required) — Max number of comments to return (minimum 1, default 50). Shown only when Return All is off.
• Filters — Optional collection: Comment Type (all, document, file, link, task; default all), Order (asc/desc; default desc), Order By (Date Added or Date Edited; default Date Added), and Project Names or IDs (multi-select or custom IDs/expression) to restrict comments to specific projects.
• Request Options — Node-level HTTP settings: Batching (items per batch, default 50, and interval in ms, default 1000), Ignore SSL Issues, Proxy URL, and Timeout in ms (default 10000).

Output shape

A list of Freelo comment records, emitted as n8n items.

The source pack is signature-only, so the exact output item structure (e.g. whether the list is unwrapped from a root property) and the pagination mechanics are not visible. Field contents follow the Freelo API response.

Examples

Example 1: Fetch the 20 most recently edited task comments from two projects

Return All off, Limit 20; Filters: Comment Type = Task, Order By = Date Edited, Order = Descending, Projects = two selected projects.

Example 2: Export every comment for archiving

Return All on; no filters (defaults to all types, newest first).
