Summary

Lookup a Contact by Email or Phone, attempting to find by Email first, then by Phone if not found.

Inputs

• Email — The email address to lookup the contact. If no contact is found by email, the operation will then try by phone.
• Phone — The phone number to lookup the contact. Used only if no contact is found by email.

Output shape

a single record representing the contact details if found, or empty if no contact matches.

The operation tries to find the contact first by Email, then by Phone if Email lookup fails. Supports batching parameters, proxy configuration, SSL bypass, and timeout settings in the request options, but returns only contact data for each item processed.

Examples

Example 1: Lookup a contact by email

Provide the Email field with the contact's email address. The node attempts to find a contact by email, then by phone if not found.

Example 2: Lookup a contact by phone if email is unknown

Leave Email empty and provide the Phone field with the contact's phone number. The operation will first try email (empty), then fallback to phone lookup.
