Summary

Fetches messages for a specified Happ chat with a GET request to /api/messages. Return either a limited page or all results using offset pagination.

Inputs

• Chat ID (required) — Chat ID to include in the request as the chatId query parameter.
• Return All — When enabled, requests all results using pagination. When disabled, use Limit and Skip.
• Limit — Maximum number of messages to return when Return All is disabled; defaults to 50 and is sent as take.
• Skip — Number of messages to skip when Return All is disabled; defaults to 0 and is sent as skip.
• Request Options — Optional batching, SSL certificate validation, proxy, and timeout settings for the request.

Output shape

A list of message items, with each message returned as an n8n item.

With Return All enabled, offset pagination uses a page size of 100. The operation does not declare response unwrapping; the API response determines the message fields.
