Summary

Fetches associations from a single HubSpot source object to the selected target object type. Optionally filters the results by association labels and writes them to the configured output field.

Inputs

  • From Object Type (required) — Select the source object type. Choose Custom to enter its name or ID in Custom From Object Type.
  • Custom From Object Type (required) — The custom source object type’s name or ID; shown when From Object Type is Custom.
  • To Object Type (required) — Select the target object type.
  • Custom To Object Type (required) — The custom target object type’s name or ID; shown when To Object Type is Custom.
  • Object ID (required) — ID of the source object whose associations to retrieve.
  • Filter by Label — Optionally select association labels to keep. Leave empty to include all associations.
  • Label Filter Mode — When labels are selected, choose whether an association must match any selected label (OR, default) or all selected labels (AND).
  • Output Field — Field to store the returned associations in; defaults to associations.

Output shape

One n8n item per input item, with an array of associated-object records in the configured output field.

Each record contains HubSpot’s target object ID and its associationTypes. An item with no matching associations receives an empty array. The output item contains this field and is paired with its input item; other input JSON fields are not copied.

Examples

Example 1: Retrieve the companies associated with contact 12345678, keeping only associations with a selected label.

Set From Object Type to Contacts, To Object Type to Companies, Object ID to 12345678, and choose the label filter. Results appear in the associations field by default.
