Summary

Convert a segment of a video to an animated GIF or animated WebP format using specified timing and size options.

Inputs

• Video URL (required) — The URL of the source video to convert.
• Output Format (required) — Select output format: Animated GIF (default) or Animated WebP.
• Start Time (Seconds) — Start of the video segment to convert, in seconds (default 0).
• End Time (Seconds) — End of the video segment in seconds; 0 denotes the end of the video (default 0).
• FPS (1–30) — Frames per second for the animated output (default 10).
• Width (Px) — Width of the output animation in pixels (default 480).

Output shape

a single JSON object

Returns a JSON response from the Ilyworks API with information about the conversion job or result; asynchronous processing may apply depending on the API. The response JSON structure depends on the Ilyworks API's /v1/video/gif endpoint.

Examples

Example 1: Convert a 5-second segment starting at 10 seconds of a video URL to an animated GIF with 15 FPS and 600px width.

Set 'Video URL' to the source video URL, 'Output Format' to Animated GIF, 'Start Time' to 10, 'End Time' to 15, 'FPS' to 15, and 'Width' to 600.
