Summary

Update custom field values for entities of a specified type.

Inputs

• updateEntityType (required) — The entity type to update custom fields for
• entityId (required) — The ID of the entity (Student ID, Parent ID, etc.)
• customFields (required) — Custom fields to update

Output shape

Array of objects returned from the Kinderpedia API PATCH to /v1/eav_values for each custom field updated, paired with workflow items.

Throws NodeOperationError if entityId is 0 or missing, if no custom fields are specified, if any attributeId is 0 or missing, or if any value is empty or whitespace.

Example 1: Update a custom field value for a student

Set Entity Type to Students, Entity ID to a specific student ID, and add one custom field with the appropriate Attribute ID and a new value.
