Summary

Create a new task in Kordon by specifying required fields such as title, assignee ID, kind, frequency, and due date, along with optional additional details to customize the task.

Inputs

• Title (required) — The title of the task.
• Assignee ID (required) — The ID of the user assigned to the task.
• Kind (required) — The kind of task; options include Audit, Maintenance, and Review.
• Frequency (required) — How often the task should repeat; options include Once, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual.
• Due At (required) — The due date and time of the task.
• Additional Fields — Optional fields to further define the task such as connected item ID, custom fields, description, duration, labels, and whether the task requires evidence.

Output shape

a single task object representing the newly created task

The operation returns the details of the created task including all specified fields and any defaults set by the system. No pagination or multiple results.

Examples

Example 1: Create a maintenance task assigned to user 123 due next week with description and labels.

Set Title, Assignee ID to '123', Kind to 'Maintenance', Frequency to 'Once', Due At to the desired date, and optionally add Description and Labels in Additional Fields.
