Summary

Create a Leap customer using the required first and last names, with optional contact, address, company, referral, source, and note details. Optionally set customer custom fields using the live field mapper or raw JSON; the operation sends a POST request and returns the created customer record.

Inputs

• First Name (required) — Customer first name.
• Last Name (required) — Customer last name.
• Additional Fields — Optional address, city, company, country, email, note, phone numbers, referral, source, state, and ZIP values.
• Custom Fields — Set custom fields loaded from the Leap account. Dropdowns expose top-level options; user fields accept comma-separated user IDs. Setting custom fields replaces all existing custom field values.
• Custom Fields — Advanced (Raw JSON) — Optional raw Leap custom_fields array for cascade dropdowns or multi-value fields; entries override mapped entries with the same custom_field_id.

Output shape

A single created customer record for each input item.

Returns response.data when present, otherwise the full API response. With Continue On Fail enabled, an item that errors instead returns an error field.
