Summary

Create a Leap task with a title and origin, optionally assigning users or roles, linking it to a job, setting a due date and notes, and configuring priority and notifications. The node sends a POST request to /tasks and returns the response data as output.

Inputs

• Title (required) — Task title.
• Origin (required) — Free-text label for where the task originated; defaults to n8n. The UI description specifies a maximum of 30 characters.
• Assign to Users — Users to assign to the task, selected from the active company users. Can be left empty when using Assign to Setting.
• Job ID — Leap job ID to associate with the task.
• Due Date — Task due date.
• Notes — A note for the task.
• Additional Fields — Optional settings: Notify Users selects users to notify when the task is completed; High Priority flags the task; Email Notification and In-App Message Notification enable those notification types; Assign to Setting assigns by role (Customer Rep, Estimators, Company Crew, or Subs); Notify User Setting selects role-based notification recipients.

Output shape

A single task record for each input item.

The node emits the API response's data property when present, otherwise the full response. If Continue On Fail is enabled, a failed item is emitted as { "error": "..." }.}}
