Summary

Create a new MySQL database within a specified project on the Mittwald platform, configuring database details and initial user credentials and permissions.

Inputs

• Project (required) — Select the target project by listing available projects or entering its UUID/short ID to which the MySQL database will be added.
• Name (required) — Specify the name for the new MySQL database.
• MySQL Version (required) — Choose the MySQL version for the database either from a list or by providing an ID.
• Character Set — Set the character set to use for the new database, defaulting to 'utf8mb4' if unspecified.
• Collation — Set the collation for the database, defaulting to 'utf8mb4_unicode_ci' if unspecified.
• User Password (required) — Provide a password for the initial MySQL user associated with this database.
• User Access Level — Define the access level for the initial user; options are Full or Read-Only, defaulting to Full.
• User External Access — Specify whether the initial user is allowed external access to the database, default is false.
• User Description — Optionally add a description for the initial MySQL user.

Output shape

a JSON object representing the newly created MySQL database and associated user details.

The output includes properties confirming database creation and user configuration. No pagination applies. Errors related to invalid project, MySQL version, or user parameters will be returned as standard API error responses.

Example 1: Create a MySQL database named 'testdb' on a selected project, using MySQL version '8.0', default character set and collation, with a full-access initial user password.
