Summary

Send a media message via WhatsApp to a specified recipient using either a URL or binary file data as the media source.

Inputs

• Sender Device (From) — Choose the sending device; if left empty, the sender device from the credential is used.
• Recipient Number (To) (required) — Target WhatsApp number without '+' prefix; include country code.
• Media Source (required) — Select whether the media to send comes from a URL or binary file upload.
• Media Type (required) — Specify the type of media being sent: image, video, audio, or document.
• URL (required) — The URL of the media file to send (required if Media Source is URL).
• Binary Property (required) — The binary property name containing the file data to send (required if Media Source is binary).
• Caption — Optional text caption to include with the media message.
• Reply Message ID (Optional) — ID of the message to reply to; leave empty to send as a new message.

Output shape

a single JSON object containing the API response indicating success or failure

Returns the API response JSON for each sent media message. In case of binary input, the media data is encoded to base64 and sent as Data URL. Errors are thrown or output as error messages if Continue On Fail is enabled.
