Summary

Generates proof‑of‑work for a block hash using the Nano node’s work_generate RPC.

Inputs

• blockHash (required) — Hash of the block for which work is required.
• difficulty — Work difficulty threshold (optional). Example: ffffff80000000.
• workMultiplier — Multiplier from base difficulty (v20.0+). Overrides difficulty if provided. Set to 0 or leave empty to not use.
• usePeers — Whether to query work peers instead of doing local computation (v14.0+).
• workAccount — Account to relay to work peers (v20.0+). Only used when Use Peers is enabled.
• workVersion — Work version string (v21.0+). Leave empty for default "work_1".
• workBlock — Provide a block for automatic difficulty calculation (v21.0+). Leave empty to use the hash and difficulty/multiplier instead.
• options.timeout — Request timeout in milliseconds (default: 15000).
• options.maxRetries — How many times to retry transient RPC failures before failing (default: 2).
