Summary

Retrieve legacy WhatsApp-only contact details by specifying the contact's phone number in international format.

Inputs

• Phone Number (required) — Phone number of the contact in international format

Output shape

a list containing one or more contact records as JSON objects

The response is always an array, even when a single contact is returned. The custom_fields object in the returned data is always empty in this legacy operation. This operation reads from the whatsapp_contacts data only and does not retrieve CRM lifecycle, tags, or ad source data.

Examples

Example 1: Looking up a WhatsApp contact by phone number

Set 'Phone Number' to '+1234567890' to retrieve that contact's details from the legacy WhatsApp contacts.
